I was really hoping that the second game would fix all the problems of the first. I remember reading in an interview with the developers that they were aware of the complaints people had, and they were supposedly working to fix them.

I'll probably pick it up (when it's uber-cheap) just to see for myself, but the reviews aren't too promising.

Well, it doesn't, it just cranks the charm up to compensate for the hours of trying to figure out the next advance trigger.

First game isn't as good of a game as the second, but the second doesn't have the charm of the first. So, it's kind of a toss up.

Micro Center has the first for $10. I bit.

I would have been very upset buying this at full price, but it's a fun, $10 diversion with lots of ~ kawaii desu ~ to keep me going.
