If your Xbox Live Gamertag is not exactly the same as your TNL name, it is always a good idea to add text or voice to the friend request that says who you are.
Just a heads up, as I'm pretty sure I have declined friend requests to a bunch of you when I didn't recognize your gamertags.
I decline any gamertag I don't recognize.
It's just common sense to tell someone who you are.
Word.
I keep a list handy of who is who and leave it by the TV, just in case it ever comes up where I need to know who somebody is...
My computer is by my TV.
It makes things easy.
