If contacts are really to blame for this, I think you can understand my weariness to use them. Plus, I have bad allergies which make contacts really annoying sometimes. And glasses just don't work for me. They are uncomfortable, suck when I play tennis, and just altogether irritating.

Stick with contacts man; so many of those laser eye surgeries don't yield optimal results (to say the least).

Kathy Griffin was on Howard this morning and was talking about how she lost vision in one eye after lasik surgery. She said she doesn't recommend the surgery because if they fuck anything up there's no way to fix it.

Not something I'd do (I'd just be happy to have my vision back) but if you're down for it then go for it. Just be aware of the risks.

One other option: Pierced Eyeglasses

I remember that interview with Griffin (it was from months ago, actually). I wouldn't fuck with laser surgery either. Still too young a science with not enough long-term studies.

It was a new interview, it just got brought up again because a caller said he heard that riding the Sybian would cure bad eyesight lol.
