One of the mockups has the technology being used for a biomonitor, it has it has practical medical uses as well.

And considering the price the procedure will probably entail initially, that's about the only usage it'll get for a while.

When/if it comes down, though, it'll be interesting. I imagine a lot of people will look like walking late-90's Geocities pages.

No, but you could hack all their tattoos to display "I LIKE COCK" in flashing letters. Which would be even better.

Meh, about the only "cool" thing about a tattoo is the permanence of it. I await seeing just how bad these get, though, now that people can be truly impudent about them.

I wonder if you could have them all over your body and make it so you have color-changing skin.

People like the leopard-skin-tattoo guy would be all over that.
