So my xbox1's modchip fell off and I gave up soldering it back on and threw the console out. It made me think about which games I will sincerly miss on this console:

Dead or Alive Xtreme volleyball.
Voodoo Vince.
Toejam & Earl.
Arx Fatalis. (even though I can replay this on pc)
Galleon.
Outrun 2.
Haunted Mansion.

If I could go back in time I would have gotten the ps2 instead, as these few preferences couldn't possibly justify having that brick in my house. I was tricked into getting it when an old irc-buddy lied to me and said "xbox is the spiritual heir to the Dremcast"... and with doax & shenmue2 tempting: I took a step down the wrong path.

Naturally it had a thompson drive which never worked properly from day 1 and my reciept ended up with a friend in Mexico. I had to mod it to get it to work properly which gave me my biggest joy from the machine; the mediaplayer. I also picked up several 100 obscure games from Pearl Market in Beijing. I gave up trying to connect to xbox-live and am not a big fan of online gaming anyway.

I'm still dissapointed and will prolly never buy another Microsoft console.

Whoah, you're right...

I know my selection isn't mainstream, but each to his own. It would be lame if we all liked the same games. My favorites are probably last in line to be added to 360 backwards compability.

That's the first Mark Ryan to ever be right about anything.
