I was hoping that the ingame battle would be as chaotic as the opening cinema. I was not disappointed. It WAS confusing but I manage to kill off a bunch of fighters before getting killed by one of the capital ships. It was alot of fun, although I prefer just a cockpit view instead of behind the ship (maybe I can change this, I don't know).

Erg. I recommend a real joystick (I've contemplated buying $120 joysticks with throttle solely for those games) but whatever, if that's what you're comfortable with then go for it. I know someone that played through both using the keyboard which I just couldn't even wrap my head around.
I played the demo and was just wowed by it. It's nice. But, I just couldn't help but wonder what a next gen TIE Fighter or Wing Commander would look like instead, you know, without the Squieenix androgynous characters and insane japanesey story.
The game's gorgeous, but I wasn't smart enough to figure out what the hell was going on.
Things are blowing up. The ones you want to blow up are the small red things and the big green things. You accomplish this by pushing buttons, and occasional swearing.Quote:
