But even then, I really don't see how I can make them move properly with a single command -- for example, with pikeman moving out first to protect the archers from a calvary charge. Forget everything I said bad about the elves, they are really awesome to use. You just have to play extremely defensive with them till you level up to Silver Thorn Arrows.

After two lengthy skirmishes last night, I realize I've got a good early defensive game, and almost no subsequent offensive game. I have an especially tough time leaving my defenses to fend off waves of bad guys while micro-managing a surprise offense with separate units. Also, I need to get a lot more consistent with spells -- they often turn the tide of battle quickly, but you have to be fast and precise.

I think it boils down to generally being too fucking slow.

I don't think I'm playing tonight Cap, I promised my son I'd do something with him. Maybe if you're up for some rounds tommorow night that would be cool just post up here if you want to play then.

Joe and I are trying to get a 4 player match for tonight if anyone is interested.

I'll likely be on starting at 8 or 9 p.m., PST. Should be interesting.
