Either way, I win.

I'd still hit it.
This show is getting really really good. I didn't like the first two episodes and now I know why. The show is actually starting from the beginning of mutant powers and developing each character in to their own superheroes instead of just expecting the villains to be villains and the heroes to be heroes. They're showing how and why each became what they are. This is a huge commitment for a writing staff and network to have the balls to go through with. If this show were on ABC I could see people in tights flying around by now. Slow burn is the only way this show is lasting the way it is and NBC is awesome to see its potential. (also great ratings don't hurt either).
The mind reading guy is one of my favorites. Using his power to avoid a conflict with Assassin Jessica was pretty great. Sylar is easily my favorite character. I hope he kills Mohinder. I'm starting to like evil-Nikki a lot more now that she's just a full on villain. It's more interesting this way.
I took it more like Nathan always knew he could fly, but just didn't want to admit it to himself or anybody else in fear of his political aspirations going down the tubes. It's probably the reason why he was so dodgy and adamant with his brother to begin with when Peter was trying to tell him about his powers.
And it's not like Nathan didn't already know how to fly when Peter jumped from the rooftop in the second or third episode. He obviously knew more than he was letting on.
The way they're building Peter with all of his powers and abilities and Sylar with all of his powers and abilities I'd say both are set to become the big players on their respective sides of the good/evil battle. They both have like, what, 8 powers each?
It'll have to be from the firestarters side. Nate and Peters dad died in the first two episodes when they were about to testify against him in court and betray him.
Heroes adventure has always been about stories. When he first arrived in New York he saw a comic book of himself, remember? Not to mention his character personality is naive and pretty innocent. Not to mention Hiro from the future visited Peter Petrelli on the subway cart and future-Hiro had the sword. Peter told Hero this, remember? This combined with the story from his youth makes him suspect the sword and him are intertwined.
Because the glass is still in an enclosed enclave with camera's. The girl killed herself, BTW, to prevent Sylar from taking her really dangerous power. The one thing I give you is that NBC didn't explain Sylar's failed escape on TV. They do explain it in the virtual comic books published on their site between each show (each comic bridges gaps between episodes to encourage people to check out the comics).Quote:
Sylar killing the short haired girl and smashing her through the glass he was locked behind and next thing you know he still is captive. How the fuck does that make sense?
I don't expect people to read the comics, but it really doesn't make a difference how he was recaptured. He was, it's not even a big issue, lets move on.
You need to pay attention more man. Peter was in a coma for 2 or 3 days. He inadvertantly "copied" the telepaths powers when he was being mind read in an interogation by him. The telepathy was too intense for him and he slipped in to a coma. During the coma he had a premonition dream that he was going to be the man who explodes and destroys New York City. In the dream the invisible guy is there trying to guide him before he explodes. So when he got out of the coma and see's the invisible guy on the street by chance he chased him down. Turns out the invisible guy is experienced with other heroes so his dream was correct.Quote:
Then we have Peter Petrelli running around chasing an invisible man that (for some unexplained reason) is the guy who is going to show him how to control his powers. Why the fuck does he think that?
I don't believe it. I am agreeing with Andrew. But he is right, most of the stuff that Glass had concerns about were the more answered questions via paying attention.
I'm always right. That's a free protip for you junior.
The funny part is I've missed like 5 episodes of the show or more thus far and can still follow along what's happening.
No just this one time. ;)
What? He is important to the series, and yes at the time it was a big issue that he was mysteriously recaptured. I mean it wasnt even brought up or mentioned in the show at all. Just that he murdered Eden. Like what was said, most people who watch the show arent reading the comic so it left a lot of people confused and feeling like they had missed something,me included. Thats sloppy writing and alienating your audience.
arent they planning on doing a whole lot more in the same vein as the internet comics? like some cell phone and text messaging shit as well as other stuff? i really don't think it's "cool or new" to offer the rest of the story like they do.
Guess you forgot this post on page one.
