I verify call center calls all day at work, and there's the occasional wierd shit. The other week, a very fast-talking guy gave a 15 minute long speech on how democrats fund Al Qaeda, tied it into some Coca Cola drug smuggling conspiracy, and said that if he could get that info passed to Hannity and Colmes he would "blow this thing wide open".

I just really wish I could hear some of the unsuccessful calls.

At times it sounds like she's giving birth to a very large fish.

I don't know what's funnier - the schizo woman on the phone, or the telemarketing monkey boy who stays too calm throughout the whole thing.

Seriously, they don't pay these people enough to put up with stuff like this.

See a REALLY good telemarketer would have tried to squeeze a sale in there. "Maam, your house got broken into? We sell low low insurance policies to cover any situation.We even sell medical coverage so you could get that spleen fixed. Friend gangraped by telemarketers? We also sell Tae Bo lessons from our sponsor Billy Blanks."

And I dont know if he would have lost his job for this, but I would have totally called her back after that last call and thrown another sale line her way as if nothing happened. And of course taped it.

Usually Call Center ppl make like $10/hr. Tech support makes $11-16, and Telemarketers barely make $9/hr + commish.

I remember one time when I was fundraising for a cancer charity I had some guy that said that he had discovered the cure for cancer, but that coroporations funding medical treatment were silencing him because cancer is a billion dollar industry. You gotta love these people.

I guaruntee that this kook on the phone is NOT on the no-call list because she waits all day for people to call her so she can go on these crazy rants.
