All conspiracies have a kernel of truth in them. The one Frog mentioned - no, they obviously dont have a cure for cancer (there's a million different cancers), but the drug companies aren't necessarilly trying to find a breakthrough cure, instead choosing to churn out FOTM drugs that improve little over existing ones but they can advertise and sell for huge profits fast (good for stock price). Collabaration is nonexistant. Pfizer spends 2x as much on marketing than r&d. There's a good new book on this, called Money Driven Medicine by Maggie Mahar.
And yea, oil companies are obviously snuffing out electric cars. There's a documentary coming out on it. I read some high schoolers in Pittsburgh or something built an electric car cheap, like it cost them a few thousand plus a donated automobile. There's no excuse.
That docu is called "Who Killed the Electric Car?" GM had built a fleet of electric cars around 1996 that were being driven around California. They had to be recharged every 60-80 miles but they worked well and were really a stepping stone to leaving gas behind (there was even state legislation about having a certain precentage of cars being emmission free by like 2008 or something). In 2001 I think, GM stopped the program and destroyed all of the elecrtic cars.

This woman is, sadly, one of many in the world. My company (coffee and tea) has thousands of customers, and we get calls from psychos like this every week.
I actually had a woman call the police on me because her credit card was declined and I wouldn't ship her free coffee. She yelled and screamed for 30 minutes straight about me being a "child rapist" and other choice things. Then she called the police claiming that I called her and threatened to burn her house down!
We get one of these nuts every week- and we are just a simple coffee company!
I hate people.
