Locked Bathrooms

They don't lock the bathrooms at Sheetz. They are a civilized gas station and convenience store.

Anyway, if a place does lock the bathroom, it is your god-given right to defecate anywhere in the establishment that pleases you. Don't let anyone tell you otherwise.

as insane as that sounds, I've seen two of those highway rest centers closed down for that reason.

Well, that and people going there to get high.

Apparently there is an evil cult of free basing pole smokers in this country that likes to go from rest center to rest center.

Closed down for gay people making out? I find that hard to believe. Did it have a sign that said "OMG teh Gay w'ere closing!!!!11"?

lol, I don't know. Gay people were using it to hook up because there are virtually no gay hang outs in Mississippi. I seriously doubt it was your average gay person. I mean, gay or not, what kind of person thinks a public rest area is the bee's knees for hooking up?

I imagine it's exaggerated, and the closings have more to do with people getting drunk/high and busting toilets and the like, than anything else.

My brother was recently eyeballed and followed by an obvious gay guy at a rest stop after a concert one night. He said that he accidentally made eye contact with the guy and he followed him out of the bathroom to the drink machines and when he realized my brother wasn't interested he went back into the bathroom.

Also, one of my teachers in high school (teacher of the year that year too) was arrested after soliciting sex from a male undercover cop in a Sears bathroom. So I guess it's not all that outlandish.

They lock all the bathrooms in McDonalds and similar restaurants on the high street in France. On your receipt is a code for the door.
The reason is to stop people like me, who go in those places just to use the toilet, doing that, so that only customers get those privelidges.
It keeps the toilets cleaner, and quieter, which is better for the paying customer.
I've not seen this in department stores though.

And lol at the gay thing.

Just be happy they don't have pay-toilets.
