City of gold.
Paid $100 for each of these. I've got a buyer for the TMNT Tele already.
The Fender is bizarro. The serial has been removed. It is a strat with a tele neck, a push pull bright/volume knob and a 3 way knob selector.
The Degas is old (like your mom) and has a hand destroying bridge. I've an ashtray for it, but then it's unplayable. One pickup is dead (neck) the one that works sounds great.
I feel good about this one. :tu:

The "Fender" has all the specs of the Pawn Shop '51, but with a couple mistakes(?) Pickguard is slightly different, and the neck pickup is a Fender "Noiseless" The logo is wrong.
This is either a lazy copy, or a well built parts guitar. Either way, I am in to it... and will be until I sell it for a jerk-ass price.

aaaand I give up. I'm not looking for any more info because it is driving me crazy. My guitar guy is a straight shooter. I'll just take it to him and find out the score.

They're beautiful. Dat tele!
Thinlines give me . I think my next guitar will be one.

They do nothing for me. I hate crystal clear lacquer on necks. I'd rather have nothing or something slightly more substantial.
Frets look nice. If the necks play nice and the pickups sound good, you probably got a fair-to-good deal on them.
-
The pickups in the alleged Fender are worth more than I paid for the guitar. The Degas sells for between three and six hundred dollars if you can find one. I've already sold the green fucker.
Seems a bit better than fair, but what do I know? I'm just the guy who turns a profit on EVERY piece of gear I sell.

We still have skull and bones.

This is the only thread where I'll read your posts because you're usually not a cunt here. Don't push it.

I'm just saying. If you want to compare dicks, we have skull and bones. I'd hate to see both of us get banned for pissing all over this thread.

Deal. Now please keep your stupid fucking hick mouth shut. Cool?
