I concur, I actually gained a lot of respect for Kerry that night. Edwards on the other hand is the wrench that has been turning the screws of this election since 2004, I wish he and his fat wife would move to Canada already.

Internet discussion forums being what they are, I have to say this: "I am not defending Bush."
I am, however, incredulous of the assertion that the 2004 election was somehow 'stolen.' Diff's posted some corroborating evidence, the most damaging of which is the exit poll data. Exit polls are not what Diff (and the blogosphere) would have you believe. But (please!) don't take my word for it. Check with D pollster Mark Blumenthal.
The DNC conducted its own investigation into the 2004 results in Ohio. Check out the 204-page report here.
And, for the most erudite discussion of this topic, I recommend the always informative Salon.
SPICE!
j/k
wasn't there a porn channle called "spice" back in the late 80s early 90s?
When I brought up Palast, I was referring to the 2000 election. I'm actually still a bit skeptical of the 'proof' via the exit polls. (Note I said skeptical, I just haven't digested enough information to make up my mind yet). And if we're going to base this off of 'being there' I live in Florida - specificaly on the Broward-Palm Beach line. So I was 'there' for the 00' election, and I'm telling you that shit's got the AIDs, yo! Palast's report was aired on a British news show called News Night (I think, I might be off right there on the name) and then rebroadcast all around Europe. The whole fucking world knows that thing was dirty as shit, but here in the USA we STILL have people saying it's just 'sore losers'. When ABC refused to broadcast the report, they said it was because it wasn't true. When questioned how they knew that, the response was, "We called Bush's office". Seriously, that just retarded.
For the record I didn't vote in the election, because my voter registration was denied 5 times. Every time because I "forgot to fill out a line". Let me tell you, I made God Damn SURE it was filled out right on the 3rd 4th and 5th time, and yet... I wouldn't have voted in the election anyway, but I wanted the option to do so if I wished. I couldn't really give a fucked off shit which rich white son of a bitch is making the decisions. It's not as if the country would have been paradise had Gore/Kerry won - with Gore we might have got a start on pollution laws, but I digress. The point of this portion of my post is that I'll vote for someone when they're worth voting for. And when the department of elections 'allows' me the priveledge...
