Horse racing was huge in the US. But when TV was released, the racing industry decided not to televise, thinking that if people could see the events for free they wouldn't come to the events. This was a huge mistake that crippled the industry.

If it weren't for that, horse racing would be like Madden here.

Only a hack writer who's either hick or gay enough to go by two first names would make a shitty thread like this on TNL.

If sales equated to quality, this might matter, if this were a global statement, which it isn't. I get two things out of this thread:

1. If you buy used panties out of a vending machine, you like the DS.

2. MarkRyan is a fucking idiot.

Neither of those is news.

heh if its a thread about how well the psp is doing, yoshi is in gloating like he had somethign to do with it, if it shows the ds doing well, he gets pissy, beautiful.

Halo sells the numbers, but its a game that people know will appear on a certain system and buy with that expectation, so no one goes out and picks up the system when Halo comes out.

I wonder of that Dragon Quest on Wii will be enough to move those, or if it's gotta have a number after it.

18. And one of the other 2 was Zelda, which isn't too far off from RPG. And the other was an "interactive novel" that I would hesitate to call a game.

So let me get this straight, there are people who don't like the DS? These people are obviously idiots. For people wondering why the original Xbox is doing so shitty, when was the last time a decent game got released for it? It's all about 360 now.
