If Steve Irwin wasn't an 'asshole' like you said, then he wouldn't have even been known when he died because nobody would have watched his show.

Steve Irwin being an 'asshole' was him being entertaining to an entire world.

I just mean by you saying him being careless and what not and risking everything (on his show), he made himself an Australian icon.

I think that's worth remembering, as well as having balls the size of grapefruits to do most of the stuff he did.

I didn't say he had no redeeming qualities and should burn in hell. But he was clearly pretty foolish.
