Fuck thats sad, sure the guy could be annoying but he had good intentions, and from watching his show a few times he looked like a big family man, I'm sure his wife and kids are devastated.

He was one of the nicest guys I have ever had the chance to meet. R.I.P.
I dunno man, he seemed nice most of the time but it's hard to deny he had a screw loose when it came to seeing what animals do when provoked needlessly. I remember on one show one of his team members almost got killed by a croc because he decided to mount an expedition in the swamp in pitch black darkness, and for no good goddamn reason at all.
Science. It was the pursuit of science. One could argue that trying to fly into outer space required more than a few screws to be loose, but it was a necessary step to scientific discovery.
I'm watching the today show with an interview from him in 04 talking about his baby and how he was raised around animals by his parents. If it shows up on youtube someplace, I'll try to post it.
Well since it ain't up yet...

Damn, that kind of sucks. He and his wife were pretty annoying but they weren't bad people or anything, and he has two young kids. Kinda sucks.
R.I.P. Steve. At least we still have Crocodile Dundee...
Crikey!
Sad news, too bad it was such an odd animal. What's next, Dundee gonna get killed by a giraffe?
Your writing just gets worse and worse, Jonas.
Yeah, that could probably do it. I can't even imagine what he was doing to get one of those things through his chest. Sad news, RIP.
