Storywise, better. Gameplay, worse. If you can stomach a pared down version of clumsy Silent Hill mechanics, the plot is enough to drive you along.

Why compare it to Clock Tower 3? Is it the same developer?

I can enjoy a game for its story so I'm interested in trying Rule of Rose. It's cool to see another TNL review.

And Got Next does have good content. I always read Frog's stuff especially. I feel bad for not contributing to Got Next when I said I would way back when but I wanted to avoid the TNL rivalry like seen in this thread.

You made the right choice.

Haunting Ground is the one with the dog.

I will plan on starting this right after I finish Dreamfall. That'll make three story-driven games for me in a row: Indigo, Dreamfall, RoR. They are hitting the spot.
