I have two dogs at my parents' house. Border Collies. Great dogs if you're in the mood to play with them, but the other 95% of the time, entirely too wound up for their own good. Good luck getting them to just lay down and stay out of your way.

I'd get a small dog or a cat for my apartment, but my roommate's allergic. What an ass.

I had a couple hamsters to try and fill the void, but they died. I'm not really too broken up about it, though; they're horrible pets.

Cats do poop around the house, especially when they get old and retarded. They are also quite fond of pissing everywhere, and scratching up furniture.

I posted a pic of my dog before. Its in the show us your pets thread. Schlep called my dog the black guy of dog pics. He's a shih tzu. BTW Diff when dog's get old and retarded they do the same thing, kinda like old people.

So do dogs. A lot more often. My cats have never destroyed couches, gotten into the garbage, run around the neighborhood in front of cars, make hell noise at every single thing that moves outside and eat my damn underwear/the rest of my clothes.

Cats are less destructive. We've taken the dog to training since she was old enough, for the record, and the trainers sort of sent her back. She's retarded. I love dogs and everything but they're so much more expensive to care for/clean up after.

Mine is trained and can go without peeing or pooping for 10 hours. He only barks when a squirrel walks by my balcony. My dog was raised with a cat so he actually has more cat like tendancies ... sleeping on the top of a couch, or entertains himself(plays with his squeeky toys). He's a damn cat inside a dog body. Kinda like his father(me), who is asian on the outside, but white on the inside ... like a twinkie.
