You shouldn't. If you don't feel that it's a good value then don't buy it, or wait for the inevitable price drop. But that doesn't mean it's an objectively bad price, it means it's a price that doesn't match up with what you, personally, are willing to pay. Likewise, I'm not willing to pay $400 for an Xbox 360, but it is in no way a bad price for what's included and what Microsoft can afford to charge.

Same...I want to know myself...They mention that it will be 480p but nothing about the cable...gah...

And it blows that they are only releasing one colour at launch. I would hate to buy one, only to see a new colour the next month...

They'll probably wait a year to release a new color. For the naysayers, here's another bit for you to use - DVD playback was removed.

I feel more excited about getting a Wii than the other two systems... and 250 isn't bad at all espcially for Twilight Princess.

btw did anyone notice that it's not going to have DVD capibilities? Not like it matters since everyone on this board probably has like 3 dvd players in many different forms.

I'm more excited about Wii, too. But none of the systems have anything exclusive that makes me want to buy them. I hope Nintendo brings out a "core system" for $199 soon.

I originally heard Wii would have DVD playback if you bought some $20 attachment. If they've dropped that, no biggie. DVD players are dime-a-dozen.

By "smart voice of reason" do you mean "guy who agrees with you"?

The price is $50 more than some people here expected (and for the people who were guessing $230, $20 more), and this being TNL, they're acting like they just got stabbed in the crotch. The OH MY GOD NINTENDO IS FUCKING US AGAIN :mad: :mad: :mad: reaction is ridiculously overblown. It's unfortunate, but not worth the drama queen theatrics of a great betrayal.
