I thought the CPU and GPU are only 1.3 times as fast as the GC? And with the RAM and such, it's roughly 2x as powerful as the GC?

Those technical specs don't tell us really anything about the system besides the type of ram it uses and it has 512mb internal flash memory. There is also no information available about the Broadway processor besides speculation.
