Not all games do that, from what I understand. Some run in both 50 and 60 Hz, just not all.

The first was a stupid mis-quote, which was meant to say that online people can play against others from another region, though the pubs could lock this if they wanted. Wii is 100% locked per region. Importers beware.
And the thing about the hybrid component cable turned to be false. It only comes with composite. Bleh x10.

Oh, no! Vasteel's getting gaming blue balls!
Any word if the video connection port is the same that's been on SNES, N64 and GCN? If so I have my S-Video connection cable already.
Also, what is the word with the VGA out? Avaible at launch?
I've had a habit of buying Nintendo consoles within the first three or four months of launch since the Super Nintendo. I don't think I'll be continuing this trend. Not because I think the system is overpriced (which I do, but not by much) but because the only game I'm interested in is Zelda: Twilight Princess and I can play that on the Gamecube.
Mario Galaxy looked really fun. When it comes out I'll buy a Wii and Twilight Princess. I have an Xbox 360 now and can hold out long enough.
