PS3 online is a mess

It's really very simple- if there's a multiplayer option in the game, it ought to be online. Why is this so hard?

I for one, am turned off by the constant death match, team death match, and CTF modes that most games feature. It's a great thing to have, sure, but I'd really enjoy it if I could go co-op with some friends as well. A squad of Spartans in Halo 3, etc. That would rock.

No online co-op is the reason why I haven't touched Halo 2 since beating it. The option's there but doesn't work. Fuck that noise. Splinter Cell is a prime example of how awesome online co-op can be. This shit needs to be standard already.

Wow. I can't wait for our PS3 to be even more unused than our 360 was. Go Sony?
