The article's pushing the "sequel" thing a bit far, but whatever.
This could push me over on buying a 360. I'm such a nerd.
Or is this old news?

It would be awesome Treasure released it as a XBLA game.
I'd rather have a physical disc, myself, but their games are definitely small enough.
I'd definitely buy a core 360 + joystick for this game alone, especially if that article's claims fulfill itself.
(unless an arcade release is planned)
This is probably mostly bullshit. It's been known forever that Treasure is working on some sort of shooting thing on 360, however, Treasure has denied that it will be a 2D or 2.5D game, nor that it will follow strict shooter genre conventions. It's more likely something resembling a rail shooter.
It's also fairly retarded to infer that Treasure's announcement of an original game (i.e. not a sequel) obviously MUST mean a sequel to RS.
Also, as far I know Iuchi/Nakagawa's team (aka the Ikaruga team) are working on an arcade game, unrelated to the 360 game.
Ill buy this.
Sold. It'd take a miracle for me to not buy a 360 at this point.
Hell, is there a VGA out cable for the 360?
Yes
I eagerly await some screenies.
