Appreciate it and I'd take you up on this, but sadly I hardly get to play fighters much anymore. Don't know anyone in my area that's really into fighters outside of the Street Fighter II we play in the breakroom at the office.

Its still in location test, but I would guess yes.
Even from the youtube vids it looks amazingly fluid. Actually, GG is a superb series, it's just too hard to keep up. Once you've seen and/or lost to the best, it's hard to be just a casual player, so I doubt I'll be playing it at the point it comes out on a console...really for the casual player, this game would be a nightmare...
I wish so much for an arcade revival, but like that's ever gonna happen...
Oh and MvC2 is so good because it's broken, no one would probably play it if it didn't have such a broken system, though if you thought that game was broken, check out earlier vs. entries, some of those are so broken, they'll make you puke...

I dunno. I love the GG series but often enough I can't find anyone to play with and the XBL play kinda sucked.
IIRC houston is not only home to the largest group of guilty gear players in the nation, but also the best equipped arcade, which is rumored to recieve the game a day after its release. Might be worth looking into if you want to try and find some people to play.
Now we get to waggle out FRCs
GGXX Slash is coming to NA PS2 from that same publisher though.

This is too much too quickly. I feel so out of the loop with Guilty Gear, I might not even bother with Slash or Accent Core at all. All these upgrades have gotten ridiculous.
Anyhow, Johnny, Axl, Chipp and Slayer are my favorites.
