So in opposite luck from torgo, while I was parked at a friend's house last night a tree branch bigger than my WRX fell down from about 40 feet and missed my car by inches. The smaller branches landed all over my car doing no damage, though I have a couple small scratches in the clear coat up front from near the main portion.

This was after I did some clearing. It was actually directly above my car but swung down before it fell.

A fantastical vehicle, whose missing hubcaps, exhaust that bounced with the appearance of not being attached to the car, and extensive rust matched perfectly with its enourmous spoiler.

A car so amazing I could not believe it at first. Not content with merely having spinners on the car like such commonplace, these are actually affixed on top of the regular hubcaps. Having the appearance of being made from aluminum, they were truly a sight to behold.

You can get those spinner hubcaps at pep-boys and wal-mart. I see them all the time.

They would be cool if you were using them in an ironic way, but sadly, they never are.

I saw a Chrysler 300 with spinners as large as the wheel and completely opaque. Except they didn't spin for whatever reason, so the car looked like it was sliding everywhere.

That actually sounds kind of cool.

They keep talking about how amazing it looks. It seems like everyone is saying that. I guess i just don't get it. I think it's an abomination, a huge sheet metal boat with awkward creases. And it's even bigger than the '69 model! Lunacy!

I feel that way about most new american cars (except all those faggy saturns).

New Camaro's not bad. Looks best in convertible form. Still looks a bit like a Lightning McQueen wannabe, but I think they'll be pretty good looking on the road.

I feel that way about most new cars, period. I don't think any territory is producing, on the whole, more attractive cars than the others. There are a few gems from each region, and a whole lot of rough around them.
