Thoughts on the new Evo X? I know it won't be released until Jan 08 but this is the car I'm planning on buying. I've been driving SUVs all my life and I think its about time I get a joyride.

When I first saw the designs for the new Evo, I wasn't impressed at all, but the design has grown on me. Can't wait.

Final Production model (the only minor change to the design are the rims):

I'd like to get that signature Evo wing removed, I don't want to be a cop magnet right from the get-go.

Everyone is saying it's going to be bad ass. Looks like it to me.

I'm not a fan of the new Evo's design, but it definitely looks better sans wing as you've Photoshopped!

Love at first sight. It's got that awesome harder edge and snub-nose of the newer American muscle-styled cars that I adore oh-so-much. Makes me wish I could've held out through the year to get one (not that I would've actually had the money, mind you).

Simple Mech, just get some other Soccer mom to crash into whatever you get your car replaced with and have the insurance pay for it.

I love the look of the new Evo. Even the Lancer GTS i saw at the auto show looks slick as hell, and Evo style it looks even better. The interior seems like a nice step up from previous models too. There was always just a little too much self sacrifice on the interiors of the old Evo and STi when considering them for daily driver use, and I don't think that's going to be the case this time around.

I think the new STi will be in trouble. Subaru will have to pull a rabbit out of their hat to rescue the Impreza styling wise. Technically I'm sure both the Evo and STi will be brilliant, but I think the rest of the package puts the Evo over the top easily. I can't wait till they are out.

I kinda like the look of this concept rendering, though could do without the Grimace-size hood scoop.

Subaru reps say the new Imprezas looks great in person and that the pics don't do it justice. I kinda believe them.

It doesn't look Evo good though, exterior or interior.
