How can this make sense considering the old Street Fighter vs. Fighter's History batteru?

The last time I watched someone play ITG, it was a guy wearing a tail and a naruto headband. Interestingly enough, this was around the time that I decided to retire from dance games for good.

[edit] and to answer Cheeb's question, Guitar Hero is still safe. Harmonix and Konami have been friends and partners for a while now, and the big difference is that Konami decided not to bring Guitar Freaks over, while there have already been several versions of DDR on home consoles with more coming out. It's not about Konami "bitching about not being able to do it better", ITG is a blatant rip-off that treads all over Konami's I.P. and was potentially costing them money on future releases on their own original product.
Plus, RoXor is a fucking stupid name.
ITG added a lot to the game besides a shitty-looking interface.

You guys aren't listening. Any dope can tell that Virtua Cop and Time Crisis are different, in any number of ways just by looking. It takes a lot of playing the games to tell, even in the tiniest of ways that ITG and DDR are any different at all. There's a difference between being in the same genre and being a carbon copy. Why has ITG been sued to death, but that korean slanted-arrow game is still around? It's because you can look at them and say "Oh, hey this game is different! It's all...slanty!" That makes them similar, bit diffrent enough to pass. ITG is basically the exact same game as DDR and that's why it's dead now.
And Guitar freaks does tread on IP, but Konami and Harmonix are partners, so I doubt any suing will be going on. Besides, at least Guitar freaks has two extra frets.
