Yeah. Wish it was on a console, but I'll take what I can get.Quote:
Xexex finally gets a home release!
Oh happy day.
Sounds like great collections overall (especially Parodius), whoop whoop and alla that.

hrmm, yeah, but this probably means the often rumored, permanetly delayed Oretachi Geasen release for PS2 isn't going to see the light of day.
I'd much rather play Xexex on a console than a handheld.
edit: - oh, skimmed over Tains post.
I too will take what they give us. Portable Xexex is better than no Xexex after all.
FYI, here's the old OPCFG review of Xexex:

Shmups' old review is gone, sadly.
Parodius collection will be mine. I'll be in Japan in January for eight days... would be nice if it would come out before I left.

:D :D :D
I've spent many, many hours playing Parodius and Twinbee on the TurboExpress, they make such great portable games. These will be mine.
Now we just need some attachment that lets you play the PSP on a TV, all the Parodius games should not be limited to a mere handheld.
I was amazed enough they decided to make these new comps, but Xexex is one bonus that really made my jaw drop. Yeah, it'd be great to also have home ports of these comps. That said though, Konami is seriously stepping up to the plate here.
Same here, I used to take my TE to work a lot and play Sal, Gradius, Twinbee, and Kyu Tiger on it (I never had it modded so I used my big orange Kisado, I looked like such a nerd lol). As nice as the TE's screen was for it time, this will be so much better. Great news overall and really neat that they're including extras like Fami/NES LifeForce, maybe bonus game for Twinbee will be Rainbow Bell Adventure?
