I hope your right...

It's not very fair to rag on how cliche sci-fi is when fantasy is just as bad if not worse, especially J-stuff. Unless I missed something in the meaning of that post.
why did you have to drag bioshock into thisQuote:
You're right. It would've taken attention away from Technology Future Space War if Level-5 hadn't stopped working on True Fantasy Online. Since True Fantasy Online was all about character interaction and living in a fantasy world, replacing the fantasy setting with that of a dark future and replacing characters with tanks and jets (maybe the occasional space marine) would've been a huge improvement.
Also, they totally should've left that cell shading crap behind. Playing a cartoon is lame. Realistic is where it's at! How can you better represent machinery, nasty aliens, and tough guys? There should be pipes everywhere and everything will either be grayish-blue or brown, EXCEPT if there's some kind of danger behind it, in which case it'll be red or yellow.
At most, if there are any characters, there should be maybe a central bad alien and a general guy to give your guy orders. The character selection screen lets you pick a tank, a jet, a GRREEPPT (it resembles a futuristic Jeep but with low flying capability), a space marine, a mechanic, or a blonde girl in a space suit, which you can only pick and is your only choice if you're really a girl. The world is a post apocalyptic battle field on Mars, left behind by an amazing advanced civilization. If you're a scientist or space marine, you can sleep in tents and in the B.I.G. S.H.I.P. and buy ammo from computer stops, but if you're a GREEPPT or tank you can just park anywhere. Blonde girls have to kill or sex with a male character to save the game or recover energy, or find and befriend a GREEPPT. Jets have to fly back to B.I.G. S.H.I.P. when they run out of fuel, or they'll crash. You fight lots of aliens and sometimes other jets/tanks/GREEPTs.
So, thinking about it, i'm glad Level-5 cancelled the game too. There are way too many online rpg's that allow you to do something besides kill bad things, and too many fantasy -chan games on Xbox and the 360. I hope the few on the horizon are quickly cancelled, as the people who want the Bioshock might mistakenly buy the Trusty Bell and thus give money to the wrong developer. I weep to think what kind of jet flying tank space colony war game Level-5 would've created if the company hadn't been trying to focus on an unfamiliar fantasy setting.
why
I remember being excited for this back when the TNL thread was first made. Now I can't figure out why. It looks okay at best.
'kay, in regular talk
"True Fantasy Online sounded interesting and it was what it was supposed to be. Why would you be glad it was cancelled simply because you like something it wasn't supposed to be? I do not see the connection. Also, here is an example of what they weren't trying to do."
That meant, "These games are not even in competition with each other as they are completely different. I do not understand why one failing would be a good thing if it was only a good thing because it was not like the other. There are so few games like it on the system, and there are several fitting the description of games you like. This game will not interfere with the development or sale of the games that you like. Why do you have any reason to be happy about this?"Quote:

In case anyone had any doubts, i'm gay for both games.
Now i'm too tired to figure out what i was trying to say. I hope it all makes sense now.
Because people are lame. The cupcake comic sums it up.
