Tip #333,465,009,325: To increase your Acrobatics skill, don't run, JUMP to where you need to go!!!
Anyone else have any contributions? Try to make them funny. But a serious tip every now and again is OK.

... must... buy... morrowind...
*sigh*...
Ha ha, I figured that jumping thing out yesterday. Go swimming too.
To make your framerate run nice and smooth, smack the shit out of your Xbox now and then.
Actually, for acrobatics it would seem to work much quicker to jump from high areas. Get yourself a tower and some healing potions, and away you go.
Yea. I realized that after jumping from the Stilt Stryder platform. But, rather than blow my healing potions, I feel it's better that I just "hop" instead of walk. ;)Quote:

Too incremental and irritating. Plus, cheap restore potions are... well, cheap. I think I have about 50+ in my inventory by this point. Might as well use them for something.
Geronimo!
Well...I'm also an impatient gamer. I can't handle staying in one place, jumping off a cliff, healing, climbing back up, rinse, repeat. I figure I can do it on the way to my next destination. Besides, I'm a Kajiiti. My Acrobatics at level two is 62. It's kind rough for me to raise it. So I'd need a lot of heal potions. :(
Incedentally, do you know what the cap for stat levels are? 100? 200? One-hundred-billion?
Edit: actually, not sure about stats. Skills are 100, of course.
And yeah, once it gets to the 60s or so, I'd drop the repeat-o behaviour myself. But for now it's a nice way to boost a multiplier or two.
I found a real quick way to do this.
This works best with the staircases in the manor district (under Skar) in Ald'ruhn.
Jump on top of the railing on the top of the staircase.
Jump down along the stairs, holding forwards.
Jump (instead of walking or running) back up the stairs.
reapeat.
Each time I jumped off of the railing, my acrobatics skill was raised 6/100, and each time I went up, it raised about 1. It only takes a few seconds to get to the bottom and back, so you will level up pretty quickly without hurting yourself much.
PS. Acrobatics is a major skill with my character, so your results may vary if it is minor or misc.
