): It most definitely is. SUPER Mario 1, 2, and 3. That's all you had to have and i'd be "rowlf, finally my childhood as it was meant to be" but, no. no. no.

Urban Champion is a true classic, worth at least 10 dollars.
As long as the original content is great (imagine if they made things like expansion packs for SMB 3 or a new 8 bit Mega Man) I'll be happy.
But as Finch said, it's inexcusable not to have all 3 SMB games right off the bat (the slightest bit of neglect is a bad start).
Here's hoping VC isn't neglected like E reader and GBA connectivity.
Exactly. There are more and more compilations which render quite a few VC purchases as null. Why should I buy all of the Sonic games on VC? Why not just buy the Gems collection? I own Megaman Anniversary (with a switched Hori pad, woo) so no money from me there. Popping in MM collection or Sonic Gems is every bit as convenient and much cheaper than purchasing them on VC.Quote:
Most of these are on the Sega Genesis Collection, which costs less than any three of these.
Nintendo is throwing a party at the Nintendo World Store on the 4th from 9am-9pm. Too bad I have to work but I'll be there between 4-4:30pm, once I get out. They'll be giving stuff away and possibly a Wii?
Theres 12 kiosks already set up but just for viewing. But hands on on the 4th. Whos going?
Man, that list of virtual console games makes the string of retro releases on XBLA look good. At least the XBLA games have some minor improvements (networked leaderboards, co-op/versus play online, some have retouched graphics/sound, etc.) If these are all straight ports, that's lame as hell.
Yeah, I'm thinking Super Mario All-Stars probably won't be showing up on the Virtual Console any time soon. Too bad, it's the only place you can play Super Mario 2 Japan.

It's also unlockable on SMB DX as "Super Mario Brothers For Super Players." Only downside is it's 8 levels, for some reason they didn't include the 9th world.
Man, do I love my SMB DX cart. I even bought an extra copy off ebay as a gift for my brother in law after he got hooked trying to beat the lost levels. Good times.
Here's hoping they include the original Fami rev on VC.
