So, I checked the OSHA website, but couldn't find the exact law on this.
I've worked for the past 13 days without a day off :( . Is there overtime pay due if you work for a certain amount of days, without a day off? I know I'm getting 10.5 hours of overtime for last week (over 40 hours), but I was curious if any of you knew the law on this sort of thing.

The short answer is yes, you should be paid for this. The long answer is if that you complain to OSHA you'll lose your job. We don't practice this, in fact we pay our employees for lunch meetings. In fact, OHSA has recently cracked down for this very reason. I would find another job. The "law" is that if you are not a salaried employee that all overtime must be paid at time x .5 or more depending on the shift and numbers of hours worked during the week. Also, are you getting your breaks required by law? 1/2 hr + 2 15's per first 8 hours, and 15 minutes per every hour after (or maybe it's two hours)?Quote:

This is what I hate. I'm salary and I get utterly owned on OT. If I have to come in all day Saturday and Sunday, or work 12 hour days for weeks on end (which I frequently do), I don't get an extra cent for it, and the law has no problem with this.Quote:

Nomi's right, each state is different.
Find out where you're from, then start checking with the Department of Labor (or Labor & Industries) in your state re: rules governing non-salaried positions.
