Since you guys are so good at indentifying games...

Anyone remember a PC game in where you play the part of a little man who is some kind of chosen one, who wears a blue robe and some kind of super spanktacular amulet? It was a 3D game with a 3/4 view like BoF. All of the fighting was done real time. There was a sequil. Hey! I'll describe the way the little dude looked!

He had a football shaped head. His little dot of a nose was at the pointy end, and his ponytail hair was at the other point. And he had two big eyes...and that's really it. I suppose 3D technology was so new at this time, that's all they could do...or that's all they wanted to do.

IE* (Interactive Entertainment, a now defunct PC magazine that came on a CD...BEST MAGAZINE EVER!) ran a preview on it. Damn! The name is on the tip of my tongue!


*IE was the mag that introduced me to WarCraft. They had a demo and everything. Man I miss them.I'm not talking right before the belley-uped IE, I'm talking when they were in their prime.

I was reading PC Gamer and CDROM Today at the time.

Yeah, I played the demo to Twinsen, and though it was really cool. Always wanted the full version, but never saw it...

Twinsen's Odyssey was pretty cool...been awhile since i played it though...could be nostalgia talking...

Relentless often shows up in its rereleased EA CD-ROM Classics package in Wal-Mart bargain bins.

You know what blast from the past I need? Syndicate Wars. Never got myself a full version of that game, EA should start releasing that in some cheap-o form all over (I'm sure they have already, but I haven't seen it in forever and a day). Bullfrog needs to make another, that's been such a great, great series.

Yeah, Twinsen's Adventure was a fantastic little game with some awesome visuals and quirky story. The sequel was almost as good. They were great games, and I very much enjoyed the both of them. Never got to play all the way through the sequel, however. Gonna have to go back and remedy it one of these days :)

I've never heard of the game. I'm going to go check it out right now.
