The BGM isn't bad- it reminded me a bit of some Thunderforce V tracks, even if it does sound midi. The swing-n-throw mechanic looks interesting and there are some nice bullet patterns.
I'll be getting this one.

Even I have to admit that the novelty of new games coming out on the DC has worn off on me, but this game looks pretty decent and I may get it all the same.
I'm just going to keep posting, This game is damned good shit. Do not pass on it.
I will pass for investment purposes. STOP putting these games on the Dreamcast. START putting them on Live Arcade. A really visceral shooter (Japanese or not) would do very well.
Damn, I was hoping this would look like crap, so I wouldn't have to dip into my wallet for it, but I really like the look of the mechanics here.
I do actually agree with this too. It would be much better to put this on at least a newer system like the PS2. Putting it on the DC is pretty crappy, especially since DC's are harder to find now and few stores are actually willing to carry these games.
Putting some good shooters on Live Arcade would be a great idea.
I'm sure this game is over 50 meg, so no to Xbox Live Arcade. Possibly PS3 store.
I somehow doubt the sales of the japanese DC version will affect any prospects it may or may not have of coming to Live Arcade.
Also, Live Arcade games cannot be more than 50 megs as a rule, and regardless of what you'd like it to be (i.e. Steam) it is not going to get you full-fledged retail-quality games like you keep demanding.
I really do wish MS wasn't retarded and included the HD in all models, but they weren't so we're fucked. If Live Arcade weren't broken it honestly would be a good place for these games.
Have any of these post-mortem DC shooters been worth picking up? I haven't really paid attention to them.
