LOL @ Grey crying and arguing with Joe Rogan that he wasn't knocked out when the fight was declared No Contest.

"I was fine! I wasn't knocked out!"

And it sucks what happened to Manny's shoulder. He might have won.

the thought of Pulver going to the WEC at 145 to fight Faber is awesome.

BJ totally destroyed Jens.

Another rad night of free fights.

Glad Manvel lost, wish it wasn't like that, though. He's one of the most boring fighters I've seen, next to Matt Hammill from one of the past TUFs.

Joe Lauzon looked real good. He was so active, very quick. Near the end, look how quick he took Melendez's back after a ground scramble. Also cool to see him win with a triangle.

And yeah, BJ destroyed tonight. He looked real good. Everyone I've talked to about the fight thinks he gave up the Round 1 arm bar and later the triangle just to eff with Pulver. Usually I'd call BS on a claim like that, but if you watch that stuff again it seems obvious. And I think Pulver even commented on BJ letting him go at the end of the fight.

BJ at 155 is unstoppable, and I think he'll be unstoppable at 170 if his conditioning is really improved like he said in his pre-fight interviews. That's awesome for me 'cause I love watching him fight. BJ is easily my favorite fighter.

Overall, it was a great card (long one, too, especially for free). Those Lightweights are entertaining as hell to watch fight.

I believe it. I mean, he totally HAD that armbar and I couldn't see any reason to let it go unless he was just showing Jens that he could have ended that fight whenever the hell he wanted.

Funny and true. BJ's conditioning seemed to be the only thing holding him back. If he's really changed his mindset regarding it...watch out Matt and anyone else in his way.

Lauzon looked great (albeit against on of the TUF guys that I wasn't ever impressed with). Very aggressive and, like Rogan noted, he wants to finish fights. Man I love that.

after the fight Jens was talking about "talking to a man to train" and blah blah. i just figured he was speaking in general about what they touched on earlier how he's reinvigorated for fighting and what not but my buddy said that he plain as day said he was going to train with Penn. i don't remember him outright saying that. anybody still have it recorded or remember?

I didn't really pay much attention to what loser boy was saying, but I don't recall hearing that.

try to catch some of the WEC showings. Urijah Faber (their featherweight champion) is a lot like that. he put a rear naked on somebody without even hooking his legs in like most people do. you look at him and he screams surfer punk and you'll think he's the kind of kid if you saw in real life you'd want to bitch slap him but he's put on pretty damned good shows from what i've seen so far.

yeah, pulver asked penn if he could train with him after the fight.
