I can't stress enough how much it payed for me to be persistent. There were two people who were chosen ahead of me and sucked so they gave me the ball and I ran with it.
Anyway long story short I'm just substanciating Brisco's statement about college prepping you for an actual job experience being true. Some of my university friends don't even know how to use their degree's now. Like where do they go from here? They'll figure it out eventually, but in the meantime I'll be racking in a substancial salary and maybe even moving in to my own place in a year or two (comfortably).
