Well there's been several threads concerning Xbox's slippery position in Japan. This week's console sales show a welcome change to the usual ever decreasing numbers.
Following a price cut Xbox sold 6,000 units this week, beating Gamecube which posted 3,550 sales. Both are still very low but nonetheless it's cool to see a minor surge in sales. *-neo
