What spots in DC do you have in mind? I know of tons of cool places, but most of them are pretty low-key. I usually only drink in DC after work with my buddies, and I don't usually hit off the hotspots too often. A simple walk down K or M Streets always yields a good find though.

Anyone who gets a hard on for A/V shit can come take a tour of the Discovery Tech facility in Silver Spring if they like also.

And yes, Dulles sucks. I've never had any problems with BWI though. Fairly small, not all that congested of an airport.

Fuck both of them.

Dulles is a pain to get to, and I once flew into BWI on a Sunday night and the MARC train wasn't running so I took a random bus into Baltimore and spent the next hour alone in the ghetto waiting for a ride.

I'd be down for this. I like places in Adams Morgan and Clarendon (Grill or the Ballroom), but I'll go just about anywhere.

Must be nice to live 5 mins from Dulles. For the rest of us it's like pulling teeth to fly in and out of there. And forget it during rush-hours. You are just gonna pull off the Dulles toll road directly into 5mph beltway traffic.

Also; getting to Dulles from UMD via public transportation = death.

Hop on the metro from UMD, go across ALL OF FUCKING DC, from MD to VA... 60-90 mins easy, then wait for the bus outside the metro, then sit on the bus for another 45-90 mins. It's absolutely horrible.



edit-- i just noticed that 2/21, K-os is playing. I don't know if anyone wanting to meetup likes hip-hop, but fucking a k-os is sweet. I'm most certaintly going to that show regardless; too bad it's on a Wednesday. Destin; work that day ;)
