With what they've shat out recently, I'm not very surprised. The Banjo guy remains, though, so there's still hope for Banjo Threeie!

Why do you say that? Sure, Perfect Dark Zero was garbage, but I've been very pleasantly surprised with both Kameo and Viva Pinata. Both are great games.
So far, Rare gets a thumbs up from me this gen, and after Kameo and Viva, I'm optimistic about Banjo. Btw, Rare; Killer Instinct and Blast Corps, pls.
Viva Pinata is a great game. One of the best on the 360.
That's a positive for Rare, I would believe.
Putting aside their recent efforts, these 2 leaving can only be bad news.
I already posted this in the 360 thread. :p
I agree with Andy though. PDZ was shit, but Kameo rocked and Viva is a great game. If Banjo turns out anything like Kameo, I'm there day one.
The Stamper Bros. were still relevant?
I haven't played the retail version of Kameo, but the demo is awful. The Perfect Dark Zero demo is average (it has a tiny bit of the old GE/PD feel but not nearly enough). Viva Pinata is amazing.
I desperately want sequels to Jet Force Gemini and Blast Corps, and I think Banjo 3 has a chance to be the first great 3D platformer in a long time. Rare needs to stop trying to outdo Zelda and Halo and get back to it's classics.
