Dexter's fucked. Can't wait until next episode. Haven't had this feeling since season 2.
Did what happened to Rita's first husband ever get explained? I mean wasn't she married to some guy she never told Dexter about. I predict at some point it comes out that she killed him.
It hasn't come up since Dexter found out. I think he just chalked it up to "we all have our secrets."
Oh man, only one more episode. I suspect this is the season where the bad guy gets away (winning to some extent). In all the previous seasons, Dexter tied everything up in a nice little bow on the 12th episode, and I just don't see that happening with trinity. Dexter's been a sloppy serial killer this season and it's going to bite him in the ass.
It's kind of hard to hide a first marriage when you have 2 little kids following you around all the time. Dexter and her first husband had run-ins in the first season (maybe second?) with the old dad threatening Dexter, trying to get back in with the family. Dexter knocked him out with a frying pan, dragged him back to his fleebag hotel, shot him up with heroine and called the cops. Dexter considered this a mercy considering what he usually does after he sticks someone he doesn't like with a needle. Husband #1 was sent back to jail where he was killed by another inmate in season 2. (after telling Rita at a visitation that he thinks Dexter set him up and that he couldn't cut it in a hardcore penitentiary)Quote:

Yeah, Dexter knows about it, but Rita never told him. He found out on his own, and Rita doesn't know that he knows.
I didn't even realize there was ANOTHER marriage.
