oh hell no.
i don't think i want to see sandman turned into a movie ever. if someone tried to capture the entire sandman series into one movie, they'd horribly screw it up. one graphic novel per movie might work out... maybe. but joel schumacher? definitely not. he ruined batman and gotham city; he wouldn't have clue one how to translate the world of sandman onto the screen.
i'd rather see sandman get turned into an animated series like spawn. i thought spawn turned out well. just wish it'd lasted longer.
