Manhunt 2 coming to PS2, PSP, and Wii.

So this is the result of Fils-Aime nagging R* to death...a PSP port. LOL.

Hopefully this will prompt a third party to put out a shiv attachment for the Wiimote.

I liked Manhunt. It was like Tenchu crossed with a darker, more serious GTA. Hopefully the new versions won't just be rehashes.

I didn't play it, it looks like it is violent for violent's sake. If it is a halfway decent game, maybe I will pickup the cheapie Xbox rev.

Manhunt really bothered me. Personally, I thought it crossed the line - it's snuff porn without the sex. I buy onto the "it's just a game" argument up to a point, but when you're playing through something that revels in graphic depictions of murder like this, you really need to check your self and ask why it appeals to you.

Yeah, I realize I'm far more likely to stab soemone than NeeoZeed is, but this game just turns my stomach. The world doesn't need shit like this.

Because it's not being done by the same team as the PSP/PS2 version, if anything the PS2 version is probably a port of the PSP. This is being done by an entirely different team, kind of like how madden each year is done by different teams. Does that make them all ports of the PS2 version, no it doesn't.

Not a whole hell of a lot is known about the game right now so why don't you wait till it's fully shown before you scream PSP port. Truthfully we don't have enough information to know if either one of us is 100% right, how ever the fact that it's being done by a completely different studio at the same time leads me to believe it is not a port.

The fact that it isn't coming out for either of the next-gen systems leads me to believe it is. It screams "cheap cash-in" as in "let's put this on as many similar platforms as possible". How this is good news is beyond me. You should be more upset about it than I am.
