okay, it looks like it'll play much akin to Virtua Tennis. The game looks a hell of a lot better than DoA Volleyball, so where's the love? I'm looking for some good media, but more than anything a release date.

Like Virtua Tennis, eh? Well, I already made up my mind that both Beach Spiker and DOA Volleyball are instant purchases. Easy girls, easy! There's plenty of Chibi to go around.
God, I didn't just say that. :p
Way back when my local Barnes & Noble stocked the EU Dreamcast Magazine, I bought the copy that had Beach Spikers as the cover spread. The game looks great! I was all ready for it come out on DC...and then that whole "we'll be discontinuing the DC" announcement happened. :(
I really hope hits here soon. I've been waiting for a while. Matter of factly, I posted the very first thread about it on the GameGO! forums. :)
JP Release: 7-19 ( http://sega.jp/ngc/ )
US Release: 8-13 ( http://www.ebworld.com )
Looks like I want DoA XBV for Ayane and Beach Spikers for the gameplay :) I regret not popping in a few quarters for BS when I saw it about 6 months ago.
Yeah, it reminds me a bit of Virtua Tennis. I had a good deal of fun when i played beach spikers. I'm still on a wait and see approach, because it depends on how much replay value there is.
Looks good, but nothing can defeat:
Super Spike V-ball on NES!
*runs out all crazy like*
Apparentlly you've never played the god of all Volleyball games and spiritual successor to the allmighty Super Tennis, Dig N Spike Volleyball for SNES.Quote:

I can't wait for this game. If it plays anywhere near as well Virtua Tennis, I'll be more than happy. I'm also hoping multiplayer is as good as VT.
Plus it'll finally get me motivated to get 3 more Cube controllers.
If it doesn't have Billy and Jimmy in it, I don't care about it!Quote:
