I cared more about Charlie's one death than both of Sayid's combined.
This show has become painful to watch and EXTREMELY predictable. Two things it wasn't a couple of seasons ago.
I will miss those crazy gooks.
Sayid was a suicide bomber all along
I enjoyed this hour just because they ethnically cleansed the fuck out of the show
God fucking damn it I hate the writers for killing Jin, Sun, and that rocking 70's pilot. Sayid... he hasn't done anything in like 2 seasons so fuck 'im. But at least the episode was good. I mean, it still didn't move the plot in any direction we care about, but it moved the plot in a direction. So that's something.
My DVR cut off the end. Last I saw was the 4 survivors washing up on the beach. What happened then?
Also: Hasn't it been established that none of the candidates can commit suicide? Sayid managed just fine. ..or does it not count since Locke set the timer and he isn't a candidate? ..but I thought that Locke couldn't kill the candidates on his own. ..and I still don't see the significance of Sawyer fucking up the timer. He's a candidate himself so I figured that he'd fall under the same umbrella that saved Jack and Richard.
This show gives me a headache.
edit: Lapidus is dead too I guess? Worst death ever. At least Sun/Jin had a good scene, even if Charlie kinda went out the same way.Locke gets all I'makill the rest of em.
Don't think about it so much Ed, the writers don't.
After they washed up on the beach Jack looked out to sea and cried like a bitch. Then it showed Locke telling Claire that he was going to go "Finish the job" or somesuch bullshit the writers think sounds bullshit but it really sounds like a shitty TV show villian
Man, this was silly.
Sure, Flocke going terminator on all of the extras was awesome, but everything else...
Sayd: Jack, go get Desmond and runs away with the bomb... REDEMPTION HERE I COMEEEEEE BOOOM
Jin and Sun, constantly switching between English and Korean to pin point pieces of more dramatic dialog, as they reenact scenes from TITANIC !!! Though I do expect Jin show up with that oxygen tank and revenge in his Asian eyes.
How exactly did Sun got stuck in that thing in the first place??? That sub was sinking for a long, long time, how deep was water around the damn island. All was missing an Iceberg.
As for Flocke's devious plan: wouldn't it be easier for him to blown the damn bomb WITH THEM ON THE BEACH, when he had ALL OF THEM in the same fucking place ANYWAYS? Instead of going through the plan of luring them into the sub with the timer. Lol scheming Smoke Monster with BOMB MAKING SKILLS.
And of course obligatory CRYING scene at the end, with Diva Jack taking the lead. As dj made an observation: Mathew Fox's number one and seem to be only skill is crying. Through out last 5 years of Lost he got that skill to the science levels.
I wonder if sub captain and other dude made it out. Ah, who cares, more extras for the grinder. And ... who's gonna FLY THE PLANE? I mean Ladipus is swimming with fishes now too....
And best for last, after the explanation why Flocke count kill them personally, and had to invent the bomb way to do it, what does he do at the end? Gets the gun and walks away with: I have to do it myself.... Really, NOW you have to do it???
Locke could have just let them turn on the airplane. The show survives no amount of critical thinking
What direction? The only direction it moved was kill off some useless characters.
BUT KATE STILL LIVES ON :bang:
Also, all of the side-forward stuff was useless exposition, which might have worked in earlier seasons, but not 2 episodes away from fucking series finale.
