This might be the worst episode of Lost throughout all seasons.

I cannot believe how awful that was.

I can't believe that they ran that garbage with only three episodes to go. Holy Christ.

Remember back during the first season when they said all the mysteries in the show had a basis in science?

...yeah.

Nothing pisses me off more than show's that insult the viewers memory with fucking flashbacks to show you what they are actually explaining. I almost stopped watching The Wire after one episode because of that shit.

It's so we don't have to read subtitles I guess. They did the same thing in one of Sayid's first flashbacks to Iraq. ..but didn't the mother later whisper something in Latin? After they had already switched to English?

I think they only did that in the first episode. Confession: I wouldn't have picked up on it if it wasn't for that flashback.

They did, and I gave it a pass because pilots need to be coherent enough to be picked up.
