For some reason I'm excited.
is this new season the one where some people are getting "rescued" and others are staying? i could have sworn i saw a commercial stating such.
Well, we know from last year's finale (with its flashbacks that turned out right at the end to actually be flash-forwards) that Jack and Kate get off the island, and Jack is desperate to get back.
oh. the commercial i saw made it seem like a full blow rescue. like a boat arrives and some get on while others stay. i figured something like that would destroy the mistique of the island. i haven't watched past the first season but i assume they still haven't said if the island is real yet right?

I doubt they'll got off before the end of the 5th season or so. The freighter people are going to hang out on the island for a while

I guess it was alright, but a bit unbelievable in some of the events. Also, hooray for the Future-Flashes. I wonder how many of those can be used until both past and future aspects are used up and they have to do things in present for 100% of the running time.
Locke is a Ninja, cause he seemed to dissapear from being surrounded by armed people. Same goes for heavily wounded Naomi. Who can also climb trees at night with the knife wound in her back. I say its Island healing :p
Loved Jack beating on Locke, and pulling the trigger. Too bad no bullets :( Also, wasn't Lock just shot 1-2 episodes ago and left to die by Ben? Because he healed just fine since then. Must be Island magic healing.
Hurley cop take down was great. Also his run out of the car. He can see dead people now. Interrogation room ghost scene was cool though.
So Charlie's ghost went to get a hair cut, new diggs and pair of shades? :p Hurley's mental friend, could see Charlie too, unless it all big charade, and its all in Hurley's mind.
Scene with Hurley and Jacobs cabin was cool. Want to see more weird shit like that.
Black guy visiting Hurley reminded me of Haitian from Heroes.
I don't get one thing. So what if its not Pennies boat. They DON'T know if the OTHER OTHERS are bad, and wont rescue them. Yet, they would follow Locke, who's been acting Bat Shit Crazy last season and I was surprised how many extras chose not rescue side. Why the fuck not? Do those people have reasons to stick on the island, or its herd mentality?
New guy from Heli looked like weird cross of Charlie and Jack.
WTF was with Hurley and Cannonball? It was just dumb. Too bad he didn't see Charlie's body floating under water back then.
Overall not too bad, could have been better but I keep watching. Didn't show much in the next week previews though.
