MvC2 on PS2 to feature online play!

As long as it also works with the network adapter, it looks like I'll be getting the PS2 edition...

So....why the hell isn't the Xbox version getting online play as well?

Yes, but will it ( or the US version ) support online play in America? Without US servers playing it enjoyably will be tricky...

pssst... DC version of MvC2 was playable online. Albeit only in Japan.

And I'm guessing there's a good chance that US version of PS2 MvC2 will be missing online play option just like the rest of domestically released Capcom fighters.

This doesn't use the network adaptor at all - it seems to be one of those Tony Hawk 3 online play deals.

yes but i think Tony Hawk is going to work with the network adapter also

SF games online in japan to come here and have the online ripped out

its the only fucking game i want to see go online is Fighitng games and they keep taking it from me

im telling you the only reason id buy it again on the PS2 is for online play and if it doesnt have it when it comes to the US

Fun game, BUT:

It is only MvC2. Fun multiplayer, but there are other fighting games I'd rather play online. Hopefully, this will pave the way for them.

Secondly, if there isn't a way to have everything unlocked from the start or download a save, I'm not buying this game, because there's no way in hell I'm spending the time to unlock all that stuff and characters a second time.

I would have actually given a shit if the PS2 version were released a year or two ago, but now my MvC 2 is probably holding up a wobbly table cuz I don't play it anymore.

I would kill for fighters to get online in the US. Japan has had since the DC, and I understand how different it is to network in the US than in Japan, but can't Capcom make it possible? Or at the least, make fighters on XBox online through XBox Live?
