The link is advertising a "Broken Thunder Preview Disc" and has screenshots of some new ships: FIRE LEO-05VC "Syrex", RVR-03G1 "Bracer", and a mass production model "Syrex".

Any console would do. I have a feeling this'll get the PC Dojin treatment.

What I don't want is J360 or something else that can't be easily played by me.

Anyway, I was playing TF5 on the Saturn just the other day and thinking wistfully about the TF series. Looking forward to this one.

I hope it's easy to get and doesn't suck.

I probably played ThunderForce III more than any other shmup besides Life Force, which is my all-time favorite. It was, I believe, the second Genesis game I got. That was prior to me turning 16, so I couldn't afford many games on my own.

I think I'd put ThunderForce ahead of R-Type for second on the best shooter series list, behind Gradius.

edit: We better see TFIII and LF on the VC.
