What I don't understand is why is SOTN being released on XBLA? It's a PS game not an arcade game. And will older console games also be released? I'd love to be able to download some PS RPGs if possible.
Alien Hominid was a PS2/GC game. Arcade is just a name, not a requirement.
Konami saw it as a chance to resell a cult-favorite without the manufacturing costs. I'm amazed Konami saw the demand and capitalized on it with XBLA.
As for other older console games (including those that appeared in Sony's machines), it is up to the game's publisher to decide if it's worth bringing the game to XBLA.

I was referring to Symphony of the Night in that post. That being said, I'm amazed TMNT came to XBLA since Ubisoft now holds the license. I wonder how Konami and Ubisoft worked this out.
Also, I remember that the bonus TMNT arcade game that came in one of the last-gen TMNT games was missing some licensed music and voice samples. I hope that's not the case for the XBLA version.
