I'm cured, thank you :)

I like achievements not for points (though those are cool), but because they kind of amount to a detailed permanent record on your history in games. I sure wouldn't be able to tell you many details of a game I played 5 years ago, but now with achievements to refresh my memory, I can leaf through and remember exactly what it was that drew me to a game... which will probably make me more likely to play through again.
And hey, since I'm doing that, might as well try for some of those achievements I didn't get the first time around...
People have now broken the 130k plateau...
I like the Achievement Points. They add a little replay value for the games and let you have friendly competition with your friends. Games need to implement them like Dead Rising and make it fun and unique though.
Who? Rance6 is still number 1 going by the leaderboards and looking at his live profile puts him at 126k.

No, Chaos for 1 achievement point is insane, the 15hrs thing I can believe with the cheapness of one-hit kills they'll throw at you. At least you can max out your character by playing some and then start over again with the built up stats. It's not the way I'm going to do it, but it is an option.
I like achievement points, but fuck the countless games that use fetching coins/idols/medals and all of that shit. I can't stand it.
